The Beauty of Collaborating
I love love love collaborating. Brilliant and beautiful things can be created when we join forces. And when we feel free to be our creative selves really magical things can happen. When we respect each other’s ideas with encouragement and open mindedness there are so many possibilities to explore.
Finding a Team

I was lucky enough to stumble upon a website called Chainy just as I was wishing to create with film makers in order to make my ideas a reality. It’s a site where you can find people to help make your creative visions come true. I posted about my dance film idea and was overjoyed to receive many responses from film makers and editors.
I am a big fan of working with people in small teams, I find it motivating and inspiring. Ideas germinate and soon blossom. Alone procrastination and doubt can take hold, delaying the process, not to mention of course that we all have different skills and strengths to bring to the project. When we put all our talents together, working towards a goal, great things can happen. Things we cannot achieve alone.
Everyone Wins

During the filming project I learned that my fellow team members were really excited to be working on this dance film for their own creative progression. Great news to me as I was so grateful to have them involved, helping my vision come to life. Wonderful to know that each of them were gaining too!
We have a few more days of team work editing to do and I am very much looking forward to the process and the finished result. If you want to see what we come up with you can sign up to this blog here and I’ll be sending the trailer out soon 😉
